Sunrise and kite flying in Auckland
 
After all the rain, Auckland presented us with an awesome sunshine day last Sunday.  The pictures that follow shows Auckland in sunshine glory and "Big boys' kite flying day" at Bastion Point

Not too sure if this is the Toetoe, which is the Maori name for New Zealand's
largest native grass or whether it is the Pampas Grass.  Pampas Grass
is considered a pest in New Zealand

 If there's one thing New Zealand has a lot of is open spaces and wind, making
it ideal for kite flying.
